Classic Book Review: Frankenstein, by Shelley

To a modern reader, one of the most gripping aspects of Frankenstein is how many misconceptions of the original tale there are. There certainly is a monstrous, patchwork man created by deranged science, but he is yellow, not green; there is no strike of lightning followed by shouts of ‘It’s alive!’, no bolt through the neck and, perhaps most importantly, the monster is not called Frankenstein.
